Current Areas of Study

RNA VIRUS HOST FACTORS
We discover and catalog the host proteins that RNA viruses hijack to complete their life cycles, defining the landscape of potential therapeutic targets. Current research focuses on coronaviruses.
GENOME ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGIES
We develop genome engineering technologies that enable parallel orchestration of large numbers of genetic variants in a single experiment in order to study their function.
MODULATORS OF REPLICATION STRESS
We seek to understand the mechanistic basis underlying how normal and cancer cells differ in their ability to cope with replication stress induced by DNA damaging chemotherapy.
CANCER SELECTIVE CELL SURFACE TARGETS
We identify cancer selective cell surface proteins through an integrated target discovery pipeline and develop molecular probes suitable for diagnostic and therapeutic applications.
